Former UNC star Harrison Barnes got married over the weekend and it looked like a blast
It was a big weekend for former University of North Carolina Tar Heels standout Harrison Barnes.
The 25-year-old Barnes tied the knot with fiancée Brittany Johnson over the weekend, just a little under a year since the two were engaged in August of 2016.
The couple hosted their wedding ceremony on Saturday, July 29 in front of hundreds of friends and family in Newport, Rhode Island.
There’s not a lot of footage of the wedding out just yet but former Golden State Warriors teammate, Stephen Curry was spotted recording the vows and even got a little curious about the confetti falling down.

According to those in attendance, former Duke guard and current Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving was a part of the wedding.
Barnes and Irving have been friends for a long time despite going to rival schools.
Here’s Barnes and his beautiful new bride as they walk down the aisle:
Barnes didn’t forget about his former UNC teammates. Both John Henson and James Michael McAdoo were groomsmen in the wedding.
Kendall Marshall was also in attendance at the wedding, along with Brendan Haywood.
Judging from the pics via social media, the night looked like a blast for everyone that was there. If you wanted to check out the couple’s wedding registry and send them a gift, you can view that here.
